The article provides information on the Yuba Donner Scenic Byway, a 170 circular loop near California's Central Valley. The region is historic because it was where wagon trains crossed the Sierra Nevada into California in November 1844. The Byway is a favorite adventure site of bicyclists, rafters, campers, hikers, fishermen and skiers. The region's historic sites and tourist destinations are also discussed. |
