The article discusses the reliability between oral contraceptives (OC) containing 30 or 20 µ of ethinylestradiol (EE) for women's use. It accounts which OC dosage would give better endocrine results, guarantee very good cosmetics and powerful antiandrogenic action to women. It also explores the negative effects of a 30 or a 20 µ EE on women, focusing on women's tendency to experience menstrual cycle alterations, sexual dysfunctions, vaginal dryness and dispareunia. It delves into the characteristics of the two OC and its potential to women's contraception. Furthermore, a conclusion that showed the efficacy of a 30 µ-EE OC compared to 20 µ-EE OC is presented. |
