Abstrakt: Chapter 2 of the book "Syntactic Structure in Rimbaud's Illuminations: A Stylistic Approach to Analysis of Form in Prose Poetry" is presented. It discusses the construction through accumulation, which is the most characteristic structural form of Arthur Rimbaud's prose poetry, "Illuminations." It cites the study conducted by Monique Parent on prose poetry as a literary genre. The study shows the use of mostly nouns and adjectives, and frequent omission of the verb.
