An empirical probe into the analysis of needs for long-term international students is conducted through a questionnaire. The findings of this study include: The students prefer the- texts with 500- 1,000 words in length; the students hope that the new words in each comprehensive text can be controlled to 20-50; the students hope the grammar and words can be often used in life and their favorite topic is historical legends.
