| Abstrakt: | This article explains the procedures available to the payee in the Australian Federal Magistrates Court and the Family Court to bring enforcement proceedings to recover arrears of child support. It relates the procedures to the enforcement of child support debt by the Child Support Agency. It also explores the 1996 amendments to the Child Support (Registration and Collection) Act 1988 that enable a payee to enforce arrears of child support. |
