Abstrakt: The article discusses the findings of a study which examined the use of contraceptives by couples and women workers in the urban slums of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The study used the data from a research study funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and performed by Kathryn B Ward, co-author at the Department of Population-Environment at the Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), from March 2004 to August 2005. It explored modern contraception methods used by women workers in the city including sterilization, implants and condoms. It presents tables that depict the results of the study.
