In this article the author discusses the significance of instilling civic knowledge to the young people in the state of New York. She highlights the importance of creating awareness among students on their right to question their democracy. Furthermore, she cited the statement of author Hindy Lauer who believes that the success of democracy participation rests on the civic knowledge acquired by citizens when they were still young. |
