A biography of actor and director Dennis Hopper is presented. Hopper was born on May 17, 1936 and his acting career began in the theater playing minor parts in William Shakespeare's plays, then later making a mark on television in the series "Medic." Hopper's biggest film break was playing the role of "Goon" in the film "Rebel Without A Cause," and although the role was small, the film proved transformative when he became involved in a love triangle with actress Natalie Wood and director Nicholas Ray. The article also discusses Hopper's filmography. |
