Abstrakt: The article focuses on the different methods to tune a piano using the contiguous major thirds (M3s) from F3 to A4 in the U.S. It has been cited that the use of the simple sequence allows the proper placement of the pitch. The contiguous M3s has been viewed as a valuable tool to detect errors within the temperament and can divide the temperament octave in three equal division.
