Abstrakt:	The article discusses the Peace History Society (PHS), an affiliate of the American Historical Association (AHA) since 1963. The author provides background information on PHS and explains how the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy and the beginnings of the Indochina War led to the formation of the group. PHS sponsored panels, collective research, and writing projects are also discussed.
