Characteristics of Seepage Failure of Soil under Various Flow Conditions.

Abstrakt: The article discusses the results of a study which investigated the characteristics of seepage flow and seepage failure of soil water under various flow conditions. Flow patterns for the conditions of two-dimensional flow (2D), two-dimensional concentrated flow (2DC) and axisymmetrical radial flow (AXSC) flow were considered to analyse seepage flow and stability against the seepage failure of soil. Results showed that seepage flow concentrates into soil between double sheet pile walls in the 2DC flow condition.
