Abstrakt: The article presents information on the modern nonwovens (NW's) manufacturing technologies and the research program that was conducted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) through Agricultural Research Service to potentially formulate cotton in NW's. It describes the development on its structures and the cotton products in the country. It depicts several modern classic methods and technologies that are usually used to manufacture fabrics for various applications including industrial, medical and automotive. It also notes the goals, objectives and the expected results of the research.
