The article offers information on the U.S. Air Defense Artillery Strategy. It aims to lead the air and missile defense forces of the U.S. Army into the 21st century and reflects the change of focus and priorities of the National Defense Strategy. It also includes the Army's thrust to field truly joint integrated and missile defense systems and the transitioning and fielding of elements from the Missile Defense Agency to the Army thus providing unprecedented protection to the homeland as well as allies. |
