An interview with London Business School Associate Professor Donald N Sull is presented. When asked about how can a company overcome the problem of active inertia, he refers to the commitment of the company to transform existing success formula through transforming commitments. Sull believes that active inertia comes from the company's defining commitment including its strategies, processes and resources. He comments on the U.S. auto makers that has been stuck in active inertia for years. |
