Abstrakt: The article highlights the application of mathematical tools MathType and MathTrax. Developed by Science Design, MathType 6 contains audio and visual features that can be applied in conjunction with MathPlayer to produce web-based materials that can improve students' mathematical experience. MathType can be downloaded for free to access MathML technology when using Internet Explorer for Windows version 6.0 or later. MathTrax, developed by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Learning Technologies Information Accessibility Lab, can graph any equation in terms of x or y and data sets that have columns separated by tabs, commas, or blank spaces. Also discussed are the general principles for use of technology and universal instructional design (UID).
