The article presents a reprint of the document "Discurso físico sobre la formación de las auroras boreales" by Francisco Dimas Rangel, a royal clock-maker from New Spain, written and published in Mexico in 1789. The document represents an attempt by Dimas Rangel to explain the aurora borealis which was observed in Mexico on November 14, 1789. |
