The article offers information that Christine Kennedy, professor at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Family Health Care Nursing, became the inaugural holder of the Jack and Elaine Endowed Chairperson in Pediatric Nursing in the U.S. Kennedy cites the book of Peter Jaret "Nurse: A World of Care" which described the immeasurable contribution of nurses to the world.
