Abstrakt:	The article presents the development of political militancy of Italian immigrants in Minas Gerais in the three main strands: republican, socialist and anarchist. The author conducts a comparative approach to the case of São Paulo state, with which the mining centers with expressive Italian communities interacted constantly. Topics on immigrants networking, labor movements and transnational identity are discussed.
