Abstrakt: The article discusses the influx of gambling as casinos increase in Oklahoma. When voters approved a more extensive tribal gaming in 2004, gambling became a concern. It cites the case of Jackie Borovetz, a court deputy who became a victim as she was encouraged to steal 600,000 U.S. dollars from public funds to engage in gambling. Wiley Harwell of the Oklahoma Association for Problem & Compulsive Gambling noted that the number of gambling addicts is increasing.
