Abstrakt: The article reports on the increasing rate of patients with Alzheimer's disease, particularly in Western Europe, South Asia, and Latin America. According to the 2009 World Alzheimer's Report from Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI), there could be more than 35 million people worldwide who will suffer from dementia. It cites the World Alzheimer's Day which will be held on September 21, 2009 to raise awareness about the disease.
