| Abstrakt: | An essay is presented on the issue raised on the death of Terry Schiavo, which demonstrate the complexities of dying in technological age. It notes that the legal battle on whether the life-support machines of Schiavo should be removed or maintained for however long took seven years. It relates that Schiavo has imposed rigors of dreadful diet after being bulimic. It notes that the death of Schiavo has awakened the mass people on the need to face the ambiguities of modern dying. |
