An interview with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami is presented. When asked how artists like Damien Hirst has influenced his art practice, Murakami noted the significant art performance of Hirst that themed on postwar capitalism economy. Murakami also stressed that his themes are mainly focused on the limits of human behavior. He noted that self-portraits are essential part of an artist's work. |
