Abstrakt:	The article presents the journal of Doctor William Wallace Lee from September 12 to October 28, 1867. Lee was a post-Civil War immigrant who moved to Gilbert, Louisiana. On September 12, he left for Louisiana, and on September 20, he passed through the town of Rodney and reached the "Father of Waters." Lee mentioned that he attended church for the first time in Louisiana on September 29.
