The article discusses Caladium praetermissum (Alocasia 'Hilo Beauty') and Caladium bicolor, two plant groups that are undescribed species of Caladium. It mentions that the latter is a species that does not bring flower very often and was cultivated in the Botanical Gardens of Wageningen University in Netherlands. On the other hand, C. praetermissum is an evergreen herb grown in the Munich Botanical Garden in Germany in May 1981. The etymology and cultivation of the two species are also provided. |
