A report is presented summarizing a November 2008 conference held in Siegen, Germany of the working group on "Methods of Qualitative Social Research," whose theme was "Multilingualism in Qualitative Research Design." Presentations addressed such issues as when and when not to translate, polyglotism in research design, and multiple semiotic systems. |
