Abstrakt: The article traces the pattern of the interregional inequality curve formed after the U-shape curve of regional disparity in reference to the Republic of Korea's process of economic development. It evaluates the regional balanced policies implemented in Korea since the 1990s, including the range of regional disparity, the ratio of the three lowest-income regions to the three highest-income regions, and interregional inequality. It analyzes economic inequality using per capita gross domestic product to calculate the coefficient of variation among regions.
