The car crashes usually leads the changes in the body geometry and damages of deformational zones. It is usual to repair the elements of deformational zones using such technological repair procedures as cold and hot straightening, repair welding or replacing of some parts. In this work is analysed the influence of those processes to the structural behaviour of deformational zones parts under the axial crushing. The properties of the deformational zone's material are investigated with a tensile test. The quasi-static axial compression tests and explicit finite element analysis (FEA) on LS-DYNA code were performed to identify the main crash characteristics of axially compressed thin-walled elements.
