Abstrakt:	An encyclopedia entry for Marie Trommer, a Jewish writer, poet, artist, art critic and contributor to American Jewish newspapers, is presented. Trommer was born in Kremenchoug, Ukraine on September 29, 1895. She graduated from the Women's Art School and Cooper Union Art School in 1914. In New York, she became known as an artist and art critic. She was a member of the Creative Writers Group, Society of Independent Artists, Salons of America, among others.
