| Abstrakt: | A biography of actor George Reeves, who starred as Superman on television, is presented. He was born on January 5, 1914, studied at Pasadena Junior College, played the guitar and joined show business in 1939. Reeves starred in the successful film "So Proudly We Hail" opposite Claudia Colbert in 1943, served in the Army's Theatrical Unit during World War II and started the Superman series with "Superman and the Mole-Men" in 1951. He favored the good life, but later on committed suicide. |
