The article discusses a process on how to adjust custom block layout pin locations based on top level routing. The design of microprocessor is said to require a hierarchical approach with tools running at each level of hierarchy in parallel. Under the open block abstract, the abstract pins and top_net connections will be stored in the abstract_log_file for debug. The layout pins can be changed by running synMovePins(). |
