Abstrakt: The article discusses the translation of Western literature into the Sibe dialect of the Manchu language. The author discusses works published by the Xinjiang People's Publishing House in Urumqi, China. The publishing firm has translated a series of fairy tales and fables into Manchu. The book "Tulergi gurun-i buya jusei šutacin fiyelen-i tuwabun," or "A Survey of Literary Works for Small Children of Foreign Countries," was translated by Ikjintai and includes stories such as "The Emperor's New Clothes," by Hans Christian Andersen. Translator G'o Yuwan-el translated stories by Aesop for the book "Iso duibulen gisun jube," or "Metaphoric Tales of Aesop." A translation of the poem "The Prisoner of the Caucasus," by Alexander Pushkin is discussed.
