Abstrakt: The article presents a study on impacts of alternative row spacing and planting configurations on net revenues in the cotton industry in Tennessee. In this context, authors aim to assess factors that could lower production costs and increase net revenues. With this, it is outlined that net revenues were estimated through lint yield, fiber quality, seed cost and technology fees based on the plant population density for each row spacing and configuration treatment in the experiment and planting and harvesting labor and equipment costs for each usage.
