SEED TREATMENTS: HOW EFFECTIVE ARE THEY FOR SEEDLING DISEASE MANAGEMENT IN LOUISIANA COTTON.

Abstrakt: The article presents a study that investigates the effectiveness of seed treatments in the eradication cotton seedling diseases in Louisiana. The study was administered at Macon Ridge and Northeast Research Stations using 22 small field plot tests wherein the standard chemical and cultural practice are employed during the course of the study. The study reveals that the use of treatment suppresses the survivability of diseases as well as allow an improved plant growth and development wherein its is best optimized during a good weather condition.
