The Curtiss TS-1 and the Engines of Charles Lanier Lawrance.

Abstrakt: The article presents the Naval Aircraft Factory (NAF) or Curtiss TS-1. The TS-1 was designed by Jerome Clarke Hunsaker from the U.S. Navy Bureau of Aeronautics (BuAer). It states that Hunsaker began work on the NAF TS-1 in 1922 which was fitted with Lawrance J-1 radial engine and mostly made of wood with fabric covering. It describes the length, height and weight of both the seaplane and the landplane variants. Details of other engine models by Charles Lanier Lawrance are also discussed.
