The article presents a reprint of the article "The New Currency of Carbon Tonnes: Hints at $100+," by Lisa Asbreuk, Jim Titerle, Anne-Marie Sheahan, Doug Thomson and Joanna Rosengarten, which appeared in the web site www.mccarthy.ca. It focuses on the report released by the National Round Table on the Environment and Economy (NRTEE) titled "Achieving 2050: A Carbon Pricing for Canada." NRTEE recommends several approaches on how to reduce carbon emission by 2050 through carbon price regulation. |
