| Abstrakt: |
The article describes main aspects of the wind and wave climate of the Hellenic Seas based on the new "Wind and Wave Atlas of the Hellenic Seas." The new Atlas data covered the period 1995 to 2004, presented as charts of the spatial distribution of wind and wave parameters and in the form of frequency histogram. Description of the methodology used to compile the Atlas data is also offered, such as the collaboration of in-situ measurements and hindcast data. |
