Abstrakt: The article focuses on the assassination of former U.S. president Abraham Lincoln. It states that Lincoln is in his happiest state on the day of his assassination due to several reasons such as the surrender of Robert E. Lee to Ulysses S. Grant and the ending of the civil war. Lincoln watched the theatrical production "Our American Cousin," on April 14, 1865 at Ford's Theatre when the assassin John Wilkes Booth shot a Derringer pistol at his left ear. Lincoln died at 7:22 a.m. on April 15, 1865.
