This article discusses the case of oesophageal obstruction in an eight-nine years old non-descriptive bullock. Its history included severe tympany and difficulty in respiration with slight salivation for more than an hour. Particular focus is given to the results of the bullock's physical examination. The treatment plan was to dislodge the cause of obstruction. Thus, the oesophageal passage was lubricated with sweet oil prior to passing the plastic rubber tube. The obstruction material was pushed into the rumen using gentle pressure. |
