Abstrakt: The article discusses a study which evaluates a novel method of assessing breast tissue which is a fully automated-mammography. The study measures 16 mammography machines in seven locations in Toronto, Ontario to estimate the proportion of radiologically dense and nondense tissue. It is concluded that the measurement of the volume of breast tissue did not improve prediction of breast cancer risk.
