TThe article presents the life and works of Esotto Guido Pellegrini, a multifaceted trumpet player and teacher. The author explains that Pellegrini started to play trumpet in local bands when he was a senior student and started his trumpet career with the Academy Band of Colorado Springs as a first step towards a career as principal trumpeter, which he holds for the next forty years. His colleagues share influence and knowledge that Pellegrini left in them like William Pfund and Vern Kagarice. |
