Chapter 3 of the book "Organized Crime and Politics in Jamaica" is presented. It presents an analysis of the nexus formed by organized crime and political corruption. It offers alternatives to the policy- and decision-making arm in Jamaica to aid in the understanding of the problem and its intricacies. It argues that perception, patterns of belief about corruption, and its consequences should be considered in developing strategies to correct the problem of organized crime and corruption. |
