Abstrakt: The article examines whether single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNP) in genes within the catechol estrogen metabolism pathway changed the risk of breast cancer. It investigates whether menopausal hormone theraphy changed the impact of SNPs on breast cancer risk. It depicts that findings do not render support for the role of genetic variation in the catechol estrogen metabolism pathway and breast cancer risk in postmenopausal women.
