Abstrakt:	Trauma to the head and cervical spine can lead to a syndrome which includes headaches, dizziness, lack of concentration, and other symptoms. Contrary to earlier beliefs, it is not always a psychogenic disturbance. Current imaging techniques including CT and MRI scanning reveal cryptic changes in the central nervous system in many victims of closed head trauma. Careful evaluation in hospital emergency rooms can minimize the extent of the post-traumatic syndrome. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
