| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the case of Eddie Slovik, a private in the U.S. Army who was charged with desertion to avoid hazardous duty and was court martialed on November 11, 1944. It relates the testimony presented to the prosecutor, Captain John Green. The nine officers of the court-martial have found Slovik guilty of violating the 58th Article of War and they issued a death sentence to Slovick for this violation. |
