The article describes the Asticou Azalea Garden in Northeast Harbor, Maine. The garden was created in the 1950s by innkeeper and self-educated garden designer Charles Savage. Plants that can be found in the garden include a large dwarf Alberta spruce, rhododendrons and different azalea varieties. The property also features a sand garden, a small pond as well as the Great Pond. |
