Abstrakt: The article focuses on the Ian Potter Foundation Children's Garden at the Royal Botanic Gardens (RBG) in Melbourne, Victoria. Established in 1846, the RBG is the oldest scientific institution in Victoria with its landscape containing a variety of native and exotic species, as well as living plant collections. In 1991, a proposal was made to fund the design and construction of the Children's Garden. Its main goal is to become a place where children can enjoy nature and discover their passion for plants. The RBG is responsible for its irrigation water.
