The paper analyzes the natural and artificial potential form the rural environment in the county of Sibiu. Here are presented the rural areas that have touristic abilities (the area of Marginimea Sibiului, counties with churches and fortresses surrounding Sibiu, a valley of Hartibaci, the plateau of Tarnave and counties situated in the low side of Fagaras montains). In Sibiel there is a tradition in practicing the agroturism for about 34 years. Here there are 34 rural touristic/agroturistic pensions recognized by the ANT. In Marginimea Sibiului there were identified the following types of touristic villages: ethnographic-folk in Răşinari, Sibiel, Sadu, Tilişca, Poiana; by artistic creation and craftsman, in Gura Râului, Sălişte, Poiana; landscape and climatic, in Jina şi Râul Sadului (and Pătiniş), pastoral villages, in Jina, Poiana, Râu Sadului, Rod. In the rural area of the county are practiced diffrent types of tourism: mountain tourism, itinerary, cultural toursim, etno tourism, rural/agrotourism, religious tourism balneal tourism. Only in Marginimea Sibiului work 164 of agroturistic pensions. The paper work presents the main touristic routes in this area. There are poposed measures that are supposed to help developing the rural tourism in Sibiu. There are also proposed means of promoting the agroturistic product in Sibiu. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
