The article presents answers to the question whether physical education (PE) teachers and coaches should pass physical fitness assessment as part of their licensure or certification requirement including the answers of Russell L. Carson of Louisiana State University saying yes and that it is all about being a good role model, of Kim Kamla of Southern Indiana which states that PE teachers are expected to be physically fit, and of Kathy Dentino of Denver Public Schools saying that PE teachers should set example of a healthy active lifestyle. |
