| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses alternative patenting procedures in the field of genomics. It is inferred that the interest toward alternative intellectual property mechanisms are growing and its utilization is being recognized of having an impact to the development of downstream health products. It analyzes the issues surrounding genomics' intellectual property mechanisms which includes the open source/open science (OS) model for genomics, patent pools and the public domain. |
