| Abstrakt: | Part 5 of the book "Auschwitz: A Doctor's Story" is presented. It highlights the events starting from January 1945 in which Russian troops began to invade cities near Auschwitz, Poland. It explores the details of how the Jewish prisoners were transferred from the concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau on January 18, 1945 and were made to march towards another camp called Ravensbrück. The liberation of the prisoners by the Allied Forces on May 2, 1945 is also discussed. |
